We have all heard the saying – love makes the world go round. And if that is indeed the case, it’s safe to say that at each turn is a couple with a story. Their story – how 2 became 1. And, over the last 6 years as a wedding photographer, I have been privy to hundreds of these stories. Some stories have been complicated, some have been hilarious. I have heard stories of love defying incredible odds, and I have heard stories of love born of nothing more than luck. And occasionally, just occasionally, I have heard much simpler stories, stories of one person seeing another and feeling compelled to say hello. Alex and Angeline’s Werribee Mansion Wedding was the culmination of just such a story.
I am sure when Alex found the courage to approach Angeline so many years ago, he couldn’t have imagined where it might lead. I’m sure he didn’t imagine that in just a few short years they’d have a beautiful baby boy. And that mere months after, he’d be standing in front of family and friends, in the grounds of the historic Werribee Mansion, pledging his love and loyalty to a beautiful girl from the other side of the world. I don’t know, perhaps even after that first encounter his imagination had raced forward to entertain what must have seemed impossible? Either way, their story is proof that from little things, big things grow. I was excited to be approached by Irish wedding blog Onefabday.com who were dying to share the couple’s Werribee Mansion Wedding day with Angeline’s family and friends back in Ireland. You can find their coverage here . And my friends over at Purple Ribbon joined me on the day, and, I have to say, hit this one out of the park. You can see their magic right here.
