Willo and Milly / Castlemaine Wedding

I’ve been keeping this Castlemaine Wedding up my sleeve for sometime now, but it’s time to let it fly! Willo and Milly’s wedding was a special kind of awesome – and I don’t use that word lightly. I’m talking hotrods, muscle cars, marquees, firepits, a jumping castle, vintage vinyl, beehives and quiffs. And a ceremony held in the cutest little one room rural State school you could ever imagine. It sounds a little like the circus had arrived for the day, but in fact these are all constants in Willo and Milly’s lives. I’d have to say that their wedding day was a perfect example of planning a celebration that reflects who you are. Their wedding day incorporated everything important to Willo and Milly and how they live. Family, friends, great music and good times. I mean really, what else do you need?

In truth I would have loved to have stayed all night. The smells coming out of the Digging for Fire truck were absolutely mouth watering and the drinks flowing out of HoboJo‘s van looked amazing. However, I happened to be feeling about as ill as I’ve ever felt during a wedding. So as guests began to make their way to the incredible looking buffet, I hit the road back to Melbourne and a 4 day stint recovering in bed. No, please, spare me the sympathetic violins. Instead sit back and enjoy a Castlemaine Wedding like no other…

Oh and be sure to feast your eyes on the coverage of the day over at Rock’nRoll Bride!
